One Whisper May Start A Forest Fire!

As Christians we really must avoid conversations that revolve around gossip because it is sinful and very poisonous. It destroys our spirit.  At work it  contributes nothing of value for the growth of the company, especially the Kingdom of God.  Christian  women are already under spiritual attack! Why blurt out firey words amongst one another?  A good rule to follow, "Do not let unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you.
--Ephesians 4:29-31

Like a madman shooting firebrands or deadly arrows is a man who deceives his neighbor and says, "I was only joking!"  Without wood a fire goes out;
without gossip a quarrel dies down.
As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire,
so is a quarrelsome man for kindling strife.
The words of a gossip are like choice morsels;
they go down to a man's inmost parts.
Like a coating of glaze over earthware
are fervent lips with an evil heart.
--Proverbs: 26:18-23

So allow Christ to speak through you always
boldly and loudly.
Never allow satan's schemes
to shade you over with his haze and darkened clouds
of sin and hatred.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Attract the lost with Christ's characteristics:
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.

Psalm : 62

PSALM 62

Focus Verses: 3-6

Reaffirms our faith

David poured his heart out to God while reaffirming his faith.
God gave us His wonderful gift of prayer to release all of our tensions and emotional stresses.  Problems that cause all kinds of health problems.

1 My soul finds rest is God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation;
He is my salvation;
He is my fortress,
I will never be shaken.

Know that God is the captain of your ship.
He wants you to wait patiently for Him to decide which direction is best.

5 Find rest, O my soul,
in God alone; my hope
comes from Him.
6 He alone is my rock
and my salvation;
he is my fortress,
I will not be shaken.

God's Word says it all.
Spiritual renewal begins with a vision from God.
It sparks when we talk to our Father in heaven.
Remember this while Prayer Walking With God.

PSALM 77 PLACES OUR FOCUS ON GOD

Psalm 77 Places our focus on God

During great distress Asaph cried out to God for courage.
The root of his distress was doubt.

1You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak.

Asaph was always thinking about himself; me, me, me.
When Asaph turned his focus away from himself and focused on God
in his worship; he began to see God performing his miracles.
That was only after Asaph put his doubts aside about all the wonders
that God can do for him.

13Your ways, O God are holy, What god is so great as our God?
14You are the God who performs miracles; and display your power
among the peoples.   Hmm? Did he ever eliminate his distress?

20You lead your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Spiritual renewal begins,  distress ends when we tell God how great
he is and has been to you.  Faith is strengthened and our spirit burns
brightly when we walk with our God.

Strengthening Our Relationship With God

Strengthening Our Relationship With God

Prayer is the lisping of the believing infant,
the shout of the fighting believer, the requiem
of the dying saint falling asleep in Jesus.
It is the breath, the watchword, the comfort,
the strength, the honour of a Christian.
If thou be a child of God, thou wilt seek
thy Father's face, and live in thy Father's love.
~Charles Haddon Spurgeon~

Prayer to a healthy Christian is like breathing
to an unsaved person.  Know that without
oxygen a human cannot live.
Just like a Christian lifestyle without prayer
dies in the faith.  This falls under the scriptures
in Psalms 42; God gives us a thirst for Him.
God provides for His childrens' every need.

So begin your prayers of need with:
"Our Father who art in heaven."  It brings
us into His presence and stirs an awareness
to the believer.

Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror;
then we shall see face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall know fully,
even as I am fully known. 1Cor 13: 12

Find time to be quiet and still throughout
the day to come face to face with God through
Jesus Christ.  Remember that for a brief moment
you will lift yourself out of this world,
into His Presence gliding into heavenly company.
A True Friend Indeed!
